Kayla Kline (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) collected her fifth double-double of the season, finishing with 13 points and 10 rebounds, as she was the only Warrior to score in double figures. Lutz finished with nine points and 12 rebounds and senior

Akilah McFadden (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg) added eight points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals.

The Warriors held Hood to 31 percent (16-of-52) from the floor, improving to 9-0 when holding opponents to 40 percent of less. They outscored the Blazers, 28-14, in the paint and held an 8-2 advantage in points in transition.

Winning by eight points at the start of the fourth quarter, the Warriors (10-5 overall, 3-3 MAC Commonwealth) quickly extended that lead with a 10-0 run to start the quarter, with four different players scoring in the run before freshman
Kenzie Reed (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) hit a layup to make it 47-29 with 5:46 left. The Warriors continued the run, even after a Hood basket, pushing the lead to 56-32 with 1:51 left after a Kline jumper capped a 19-3 run. In the final two minutes, Hood (4-9 overall, 0-4 MAC Commonwealth) scored eight points to make up the final margin.

The two teams fought out to a tie at nine in the game's first 7:33 before the Warriors closed the first quarter on a 7-2 run, ignited by a 3-pointer from sophomore
Kelly Vuz (Blairstown, N.J./North Warren Regional). In the second quarter, the Warriors, buoyed by a late run of five points, took a 27-17 lead into the locker room.

Lycoming led by as many as 13 in the third quarter a 37-24, but Hood closed the period with five points to make it an eight-point game heading into the fourth quarter.

Sydney Purcell (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle Area) had seven points, two assists and two steals and Reed had six points and three assists.

Lauren Keeney had 12 points and seven rebounds to lead Hood and Mia Savoy had nine points and three assists. Marlisle Newson seven points and three steals.

The Warriors get back on the court on Wednesday, Jan. 15, when they host Lebanon Valley at 8 p.m. to cap off a MAC Commonwealth doubleheader in Lamade Gym.
