DALLAS, Pa. – Senior Kaylee Long (Milton, Pa./Milton Area) earned a top-10 finish with a time of 25:04.80 to highlight the Lycoming College cross country teams' day at Misericordia's Cougar Classic on Saturday morning, Sept. 14.
 
Long finished ninth in a field of 48 runners to lead the women to a seventh-place finish. Freshman Claire Shaffer (Sayre, Pa./Sayre Area) took 31^st with a time of 28:30.90, freshmen Tamara Hess (Canton, Pa./Canton) placed 35^th with a time of 30:07.70, and senior Amanda Goulden (Wharton, N.J./Morris Hills) finished four slots behind her with a run of 30:40.20. Freshman Kaitlyn Welch (Charlotte Hall, Md./LA Plata) rounded out the group with a run of 39:02.20, placing 46^th.
  
Junior Daniel Moses (Cape May, N.J./Wildwood Catholic) led the men to a fifth-place finish, taking 18^th out of a field of 39 runners. Sophomore Logan Franquet (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) ran a career-best time of 32.19.50 to finish second on the team and 21^st overall. Junior Maverick Stenger (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) finished 26^th with a time of 33:34.60 and freshman Guillermo Quintero (Austin Texas/KIPP Austin) placed 29th with a time of 34:44.20. Sophomore Diego Pallares (Cicero, Ill./Bulls College Prep) finished in 34:44.20 to place 30^th and junior Hunter Jackson (Warriors Mark, Pa./Tyrone Area) placed 31^st with a run of 35:36.10. Junior Jose Sanchez Jaimes (Austin, Texas/KIPP Austin) ran a 41:57.80 to round out the top seven.
 
The Warriors are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 21, when they travel to the Lock Haven Invitational with the men's race starting at 10 a.m. and the women at 11 a.m.
