WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College men's lacrosse team jumped out to a three-goal lead in the first half, but three goals in each quarter of the second half helped lift the College at Brockport to a 7-5 non-conference win over Lycoming on Saturday afternoon, March 23, at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.

Drew Collins (Victor, N.Y./Victor) led the Warriors (2-6 overall) with two goals and an assist and freshman
Max Hanson (Prattville, Ala./Bishop Machebeuf) added a goal and an assist.

Lycoming fired 3 shots in the game and picked up 26 groundballs, with senior
Austin Arroyo (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) leading the team with five groundballs and senior
Travis Rode (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) adding four.

The Warriors took a 3-0 lead through the game's first 18 minutes, with Hanson scoring unassisted before senior
Andrew Ream (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) and Ream added tallies.
Lars Roos got Brockport (4-3 overall) on the board in the second quarter with a shot that just eeked pas the goal line, but that was all the Golden Eagles could muster in the half.

Brockport started the second half with three goals to take its first lead with 7:30 left in the third quarter on a score from Liam O'Connor. Lycoming responded when Collins tied the game with a man-up bouncer that hit the far side of the netting with 2:53 left to send the game into the final quarter knotted at four.

The Golden Eagles added the first three scores of the fourth quarter to take control of the game before Collins found junior
Shain Quigley (Lincoln University, Pa./Oxford Area) for a goal with 3:40 left.

Liam O'Connor led the Golden Eagles with a goal and three assists and both Jacob Recor and Brendan Halleran had two goals. Ethan Stiles won 9-of-14 faceoffs and Jahadi Prior posted five groundballs and caused four turnovers.

Senior goalkeeper
Michael Tenant (Baltimore, Md./Calvert Hall) (2-6) posted 18 saves, including 10 in the second half for the Warriors and Brockport keeper John Felice (4-3) stopped 10 shots to earn the win.

The Warriors get back on the field on Wednesday, March 27, when they head to Messiah College for a 7 p.m. MAC Commonwealth game.
