WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Four Lycoming College men's basketball players finished in double figures, as Lycoming outscored Ursinus College in the second half, but couldn't overcome a 12-point deficit, falling 85-76, in the championship game of the Dutch Burch Tip-Off on Saturday, Nov. 9, at Lamade Gym.

Sophomore
Matt Ilodigwe (Wilmington, Del./Concord) posted 19 points and two steals, junior
Darius Dangerfield (Abingdon, Md./Harford Tech) posted 16 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals, freshman
DeAundre Manuel (Brooklyn, N.Y./KIPP NYC Prep) added 13 points and six rebounds and freshman
Mo Terry (Severn, Md./Severn School) had 10 points and two steals.

The Warriors (1-1 overall) shot 38 percent (26-of-68) from the field, while Ursinus (2-0 overall) shot 57 percent (30-of-53). Lycoming forced 19 turnovers, though, which led to 18 points and 13 more came on second-chance points.

Ursinus used a run of eight straight points to lead 28-18 midway through the first half, expanding the lead to 16 with 1:23 left before the Warriors hit two 3-pointers in the last minute to cut the lead to 46-34 at the break.

The Bears led by as many as 20 in the second half at 61-41 with 15:33 left before the Warriors scored 10 points in a row, with a Manuel layup making it a 10-point game with 12:38 left. Lycoming kept the pressure on, cutting the lead to single digits with 10:15 left in the half. A 3-pointer from Dangerfield cut the lead to four at 72-68 with 5:06 left, but Ryan McTamney answered with a three. Lycoming dropped within four once more, but McTamney hit another three to end the threat.

Tournament MVP Ryan Hughes posted 28 points, eight rebounds and four assists and All-Tournament Team member McTamney had 21 points, eight rebounds and four assists for the Bears. Jimmy Kpadeh posted four points and six assists.

Freshman
Dyson Harward (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team after posting nine points and seven rebounds and junior
D'Yante Doughty (Baltimore, Md./Calvert Hall) also had nine points for the Warriors.

The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, Nov. 16, when they host SUNY Delhi at 4 p.m. at Lamade Gym.
