WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - A new look Lycoming College men's basketball team, complete with 12 freshmen, will take the floor for the first time in 2019-20 on Friday night, Nov. 8, with the beginning of the Dutch Burch Tip-Off against Penn State Schuylkill.
The Warriors are coming off an 11-14 season under second-year head coach

Darius Dangerfield and
D'Yante Doughty will lead the team, after combining to average 23.7 points per game as sophomores.
The Lions (0-1 overall) fell to Washington Adventist, 100-64, in their season opened on Nov. 6. Tariq Meredith led the team with 19 points and four steals and Khari Thompson added 15 points and three steals.

• The Warriors were picked ninth in the MAC Commonwealth Preseason Coaches' poll.
• The Warriors are 19-1 all-time in Dutch Burch Tip-Off Tournament openers. They have advanced to the championship game in each of
the last 11 years.
• The Warriors are 15-0 all-time against current members of the Penn State University Athletic Conference.
• Lycoming's 2018-19 team set the school record by making 257 3-pointers during the season.

Matt Ilodigwe needs to hit three more 3-pointers to reach 50 in his career.
• The 12 freshmen on the roster is a program record, surpassing the previous high of 10 set by the 1995-96 and 2014-15 squads.
