WILLIAMSPORT, Pa – Holding a two-point lead with 19 seconds remaining, senior
Jordan Logan (Oxford, Pa./Oxford Area) forced a turnover just outside the 3-point line and drilled two free throws to lift the Lycoming College men's basketball team to a 79-75 non-conference victory over Chatham University on Tuesday, Dec. 18, in Lamade Gym.

Logan forced the steal just outside the top of the visitor's arc, and was fouled while trying to corral the ball going down the court in transition. His free throws with 10 seconds left in regulation helped seal a win in which the Warriors (6-6 overall) hit all seven of its charity opportunities in the final 76 seconds to come from behind for the win.

Markanthony Fidelis (Largo, Md./Dematha Catholic) scored a team-high 21 points, while hitting four 3-pointers, the fifth straight game he hit at least three. Senior
Calvin Chandler (Lake Worth, Fla./Park Vista) netted a career-high 14 points, going 6-of-12 from the floor and pulling in six rebounds. Freshman
D'Andre Edmond (Pflugerville, Texas/Pflugerville) also had a career-high 14 points, going a perfect 4-of-4 from the line.Â

The Warriors held a 58-49 advantage with 10:54 remaining in the second half before the Cougars (5-4) stormed back over the game's next six minutes to tie the game at 67, taking
their first lead of the game, 74-72, off a three by Isaiah Brown with 2:23 left. Sophomore
Darius Dangerfield (Abingdon, Md./Harford Tech) knocked down five free throws on back-to-back possessions to help Lycoming regain the lead, 77-75, before Logan's steal.

The Warriors went into the break holding a 42-31 lead thanks to pressure defense and some hot shooting. Lycoming went 7-of-13 from 3-point land and shot 62 percent (16-of-26) from the field in the first half. The Warriors jumped out to a 13-2 lead through the game's first five minutes, receiving two 3-pointers from Chandler and another from Doughty. Chatham cut the lead to five with 8:42 remaining, before the Warriors used a 13-4 run to extend their lead to, 37-23, the largest of the night. Freshman
Matt Ilodigwe (Wilmington, Del./Concord) drained a 3-point buzzer beater to end the period.

The Warriors shot 54 percent (27-of-50) from the floor and 88 percent (15-of-17) from the line. Lycoming also outscored the Cougars 11-3 on second-chance points.

The Cougars were led by a game-high 36 points from senior Isaiah Brown. Brown was 4-of-7 from three and drained a game-high 10 free throws. Senior Anthony Bomar finished with eight points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

The Warriors are back in Lamade Gym on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 1 p.m., when they host non-conference opponent Marymount (Va.).
