Mitch Wheary (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) picked up wins at No. 1 singles and doubles to lead the Lycoming College men's tennis team in a 7-2 defeat to cross-town rival Penn College at Bruce Henry Park on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 9.

Wheary teamed up with freshman
Felix Mahon (Les Avenières, France) to defeat Blake Whitmire and Will DeMarco, 8-4, at No. 1 doubles and followed that up with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Whitmire at No. 1 singles.

The Warriors fall to 0-3 and the Wildcats improve to 1-2.

The Warriors are back in action tomorrow Wednesday, Oct. 10, for a 3:30 p.m. start when they host non-conference opponent Marywood University at Bruce Henry Park.
