Julia Nagle (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) picked up a second-set tiebreaking win at No. 4 singles as the Lycoming College women's tennis team defeated King's (Pa.), 6-3, on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 23, at Kirby Park in a non-conference match.

With the win, the Warriors have won two straight and raise their overall record to 3-2 while King's (Pa.) dropped their first match of the season.

Hallabuk took her No. 3 singles match with a 6-2, 4-6, 10-5 win over King's Emily Kabalka while Nagle won her No. 4 singles match with 6-1, 7-6 (7-4) win over Nat Coffee. Nagle also picked up a win at No. 2 doubles with sophomore partner
Hannah Summerson (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport), winning 8-3 over Coffee and Kabalka. Sophomore
Devinity Apollon (District Heights, Md./School Without Walls) won her No. 2 singles match, winning 6-0, 6-2 over Julia Keppel.

Kimberleigh Parroccini (Warren, Pa./Warren Area), along with Nagle, was just one of two Warriors to win both of her matches as at No. 5 singles she won 6-2, 6-4 over Martina Gale and teamed up with junior
Brittany Lenze (St. Mary's Pa./Elk County Catholic) at No. 3 doubles to take the 8-0 win.

The Warriors return to the courts on Thursday, Oct. 5, when they head to Penn College to take on their crosstown rival at 4 p.m. in a non-conference match.
