Warriors fall to Royals

Box Score SCRANTON, Pa. – The Lycoming College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 non-conference match to Scranton University on Tuesday evening, Sept. 12.
 
Senior Kaitlin Hallabuk (Towanda, Pa./Towanda) and sophomore Devinity Apollon (District Heights, Md./School Without Walls) gave Scranton's Julia Frattaroli and Natashia DeNunzio a tough match at No. 1 doubles, falling 8-4. Juniors Kimberleigh Parroccini (Warren, Pa./Warren Area) and Brittany Lenze (St. Mary's Pa./Elk County Catholic) also competed closely with Scranton's Kristen Denniston and Katerine Loughlin at No. 3 doubles, narrowly dropping an 8-4 set.
 
The Warriors fell to 1-2 overall and Scranton improved to 2-0.
 
The Warriors return to the courts on Wednesday, Sept. 20, when they host Susquehanna University at 4 p.m. at Bruce Henry Park.
