Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshmen duo
Hannah Summerson (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) and
Julia Nagle (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) tied a school record with their 11
th doubles win of the season together to highlight the day for the Lycoming College women's tennis team, which reached 10 dual meet wins for the third time in school history with a 7-2 MAC Commonwealth win over Albright College on Wednesday afternoon, April 5, at Bruce Henry Park.

Summerson and Nagle improved to 11-3 in doubles play at No. 2 doubles with an 8-1 win over Amanda Camporeale and Rebecca Fritz. In the process, they tied the mark set by four other doubles groups of 11 wins last reached by Heidi von Schwedler and Josemar Castillo in 2003-04. The pair is one win shy of the doubles wins record of 12 set by Jamie Kaiser in 1998-99, who won 11 of those matches with Umanga deSilva.

Both Nagle and Summerson also became the 13
th and 14
th players to reach 20 combined wins, with Summerson having compiled an 11-3 record in doubles and 9-5 in singles and Nagle at 11-3 in doubles and 9-3 in singles. They are both just four wins shy of the school record of 24 set by Cricket Temple in 2000-01.

Lycoming, meanwhile, improved to 10-2 overall and 2-0 in the MAC Commonwealth, reaching 10 wins for the first time since 2000-01 and moving within two wins of the school record of 12 set in 1998-99 when the team went 12-1 with five matches left in the regular season.

The Warriors won two of three doubles matches to get an early lead, with sophomores
Brittany Lenze (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic) and
Kimberleigh Parroccini (Warren, Pa./Warren Area) notching an 8-1 win over Amanda Camporeale and Rebecca Fritz at No. 3 doubles along with the win at No. 2 doubles.

In singles action, the Warriors posted five wins to clinch the win. Senior
Sophie Herzing (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic) posted a 6-1, 6-0 win over Brooke Ronney at No. 2. Junior
Kaitlin Hallabuk (Towanda, Pa./Towanda Area) moved into a tie for 10
th in school history with her 22
nd career singles win, a 6-1, 6-2 win over Camporeale at No. 3. Nagle notched a 6-0, 6-1 win over Amato at No. 4, Parroccini added a 6-0, 6-1 win over Fritz at No. 5 and senior
Mariah Durrant (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) posted a 6-1, 6-1 win over Mary Kramer at No. 6.

The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, April 8, when they head to Alvernia University for a 1 p.m. MAC Commonwealth match.
