WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — The Lycoming College women's tennis team fell, 7-0, in a Landmark Conference matchup against Wilkes College on Wednesday, April 22 in Wilkes-Barre.
Sophomore Sadie Stahl (Duboistown, Pa. / South Williamsport Area) took a set in a competitive No. 1 singles match with Isabel Schreffler of Wilkes (9-8, 5-4 Landmark) before falling 5-7, 6-1 (10-7). First year Rayna Burke (Collegeville, Pa. / Perkiomen Valley) also put up a solid effort against Rebecca Gula, falling 6-3, 6-4
Lycoming fell to 2-14 overall and 0-9 in the Landmark,.
The Warriors will wrap up the season on Friday, April 24, with a non-conference match against McDaniel at Brandon Park at 3 p.m.
