WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Sophomores Sadie Stahl (Duboistown, Pa. / South Williamsport Area) and Yeanneth Rosado (Temple, Pa. / Muhlenburg) both took victories in singles play for the Lycoming College women's tennis team, which fell 5-2 to Goucher College in Landmark Conference action on Wednesday, April 15 at Brandon Park.
Lycoming (2-12, 0-7 Landmark) earned their victories when Stahl defeated Goucher's (3-11, 3-4 Landmark) Meline Siggen 6-3 and 7-5 in No. 2 singles and Rosado gutted out a 7-5, 3-6 (10-5) victory over Kendra Lanese in No. 5 singles.
The Warriors will be back in action on Saturday, April 18 for a home Landmark Conference match against Drew University. The match will get underway at 1 p.m. from Brandon Park.
