Box Score GLENSIDE, Pa. – With three doubles wins, the Lycoming College women's tennis team set the tone as it set a school-record with 13 wins in a season in a 7-2 win at Arcadia University to clinch a spot in the MAC Commonwealth Championship Tournament on Saturday, April 29, at Weiss Courts.

The Warriors improved to 13-5 overall and 4-3 in the MAC Commonwealth to earn the No. 4 seed in the MAC Commonwealth Championship. They broke the school record of 12 wins set by the 12-1 1998 team, which is one of two teams in program history to reach the MAC Championship final match.

The Warriors will open the MAC Commonwealth Championship on Wednesday, May 3, when they head to top-seeded Lebanon Valley at 3:30 p.m.

Freshmen
Hannah Summerson (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) and
Julia Nagle (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) won their school-record 14
th match of the year with an 8-4 decision over Amanda Shulski and Zoe Foglia at No. 2 doubles and sophomores
Kimberleigh Parroccini (Warren, Pa./Warren) and
Brittany Lenze (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic) added an 8-3 win over Amy MacNeill and Casey Boldt at No. 3.

Sophie Herzing (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic) and junior
Kaitlin Hallabuk (Towanda, Pa./Towanda) also added an 8-6 win over Allyson Naiken and Janelle Bradley at No. 1 to give Lycoming a 3-0 lead heading into singles play.

Hallabuk gave Lycoming its fourth point with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Amy MacNeill and Summerson gutted out a three-set win, 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 win over Allyson Naiken, helping Lycoming clinch the match. Summerson's win also helped her tie the school's single-season singles win record set by Cricket Temple in 1999 and 2000, as she moved to 14-6 on the season. Summerson also holds the school's single-season combined (28) and doubles (14) wins records.

Nagle won her 12
th match of the year with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Bradley at No. 4 and senior
Mariah Durrant (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) posted an 8-6 superset win over Maeghan Myers at No. 6 singles for her 10
th win of the year.

Both Hallabuk and Nagle, with 12 singles wins this year, are tied for fourth in program history.
