Kimberleigh Parroccinni (Warren, Pa./Warren Area) each had singles and doubles wins to pace the Lycoming College women's tennis team to a 6-3 win over Lancaster Bible College to open its spring season on Wednesday afternoon, March 29, at the Hempfield Rec Center.

The Warriors improved to 8-2 overall, needing just one more win in its final seven matches to secure its first winning season since 2003.

Nagle teamed with freshman
Hannah Summerson (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) to post an 8-2 win over Brianne Smith and Kayla Weaser at No. 2 doubles before she posted a 6-2, 6-0 win over Weaser at No. 4 singles.

Parroccini teamed with sophomore
Brittany Lenze (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic) to post an 8-0 win over Stephanie Blest and Rachel Snyder at No. 3 doubles and followed that with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Blest at No. 5 singles.

Rounding out Lycoming's wins, junior
Kaitlin Hallabuk (Towanda, Pa./Towanda Area) added a 6-2, 6-2 win over Smith at No. 3 singles and senior
Mariah Durrant (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) added a 6-2, 7-5 win over Sarah Wetzel at No. 6 singles.

The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, April 1, when they head to Stevenson University for the MAC Commonwealth opener at 1 p.m.
