Kaitlin Hallabuk (Towanda, Pa./Towanda Area) won both her singles and doubles matches but playing with just five players, the Lycoming College women's tennis team fell to FDU-Florham, 6-3, in a non-conference match on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 8.
Hallabuk teamed up with sophomore
Devinity Apollon (District Heights, Md./School Without Walls) at No. 1 doubles, earning the 8-0 win. Then at No. 3 singles, Hallabuk defeated Christine Kenny, 8-4. Sophomore
Hannah Summerson (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) earned the other point for the Warriors at No. 2 singles, defeating Kira Bradley, 8-4.
FDU-Florham improved to 2-0 on the season.
The Warriors (5-3 overall) return to the courts for the MAC Individual Championships, as the two-day event begins on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 9 a.m. at Wilkes-Barre's Kirby Park.
