Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Devinity Apollon (District Heights, Md./School Without Walls) picked up a three-set win at No. 1 singles and junior Kimberleigh Parroccini (Warren, Pa./Warren Area) netted the game-winning point in her No. 5 singles match as the Lycoming College women's tennis team defeated Misericordia, 5-4, in a non-conference match on Saturday morning, Oct. 7, at Bruce Henry Park.
 
Apollon won a 6-1, 4-6, 6-2 match at No. 1 singles over Allison Mattucci while Parroccini clinched the 5-4 win with her 6-3, 6-3 decision at No. 5 singles over Erika Slowicki. Sophomores Hannah Summerson (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) and Julia Nagle (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) each won their singles matches, with Summerson winning 7-5, 6-3 over Carly Young at No. 2 singles and Nagle winning 6-2, 6-0 over Amerlynn Habich at No. 4 singles. Summerson and Nagle teamed up for an 8-6 No. 2 doubles win over Linsey Parks and Habich. It was Summerson's and Nagle's 20^th win together as a doubles duo.
 
The Warriors improved to 5-2 overall on the season while Misericordia (3-1) dropped their first match of the season.
 
Lycoming returns to the courts on Sunday, Oct. 8, when they take on FDU-Florham in a road non-conference match at 2 p.m.
