Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sweeping through its third 9-0 win of the season, the Lycoming College women's tennis team equaled its 2015-16 win total with its first victory over King's College since 2011 on Sunday, Sept. 25, at Bruce Henry Park.

King's (1-1 overall) had four players in the lineup, so Lycoming (5-1 overall) walked onto the court with a 3-0 lead. Doubles wins the teams of junior
Kaitlin Hallabuk (Towanda, Pa./Towanda Area) and senior
Sophie Herzing (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic) and freshmen
Hannah Summerson (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) and
Julia Nagle (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) clinched the win.

Hallabuk and Herzing posted an 8-6 win over Emily Kabalka and Natalie Coffee at No. 1 and Summerson and Nagle downed Alyssa Santarelli and Thea Seasock, 8-1, at No. 2.

In singles action, Summerson improved to 5-1 at No. 1, beating Kabalka, 7-5, 6-0, Herzing moved to 4-2 with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Coffee at No. 2, Hallabuk went to 3-2 with a 4-6, 6-4, 10-8 win over Santarelli at No. 3 and Nagle also moved to 3-2 with an 8-0 win over Seasock at No. 4.

The Warriors are out to their best start since the 2002 team started out 6-1 en route to a 7-3 record and a share of the Freedom League regular-season title.

The Warriors get back on the court on Tuesday, Sept. 27, when they head to Misericordia for a 3 p.m. non-conference match.
