WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman goalkeeper
Joshua Tscheulin (Lusby, Md./Patuxent) stopped 12 shots to lead the Lycoming College men's lacrosse team, but Albright College used 10 goals in the second half to post a 15-7 win in MAC Commonwealth action on Saturday, April 23, at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.

Sean Reilly (Corning, N.Y./Corning Painted Post West) and sophomore
Garrett Huff (Corning, N.Y./Corning East) each had two goals to lead the offense, while freshman
Tim Breau (Lima, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) added a goal and an assist.

The Warriors (3-11 overall, 2-5 MAC Commonwealth) fired 40 shots in the game, four more than the Lions (6-8 overall, 5-2 MAC Commonwealth) and forced five more turnovers, but Albright took advantage of winning 18-of-25 faceoffs.

Albright took a 4-0 lead in the first quarter before Lycoming got on board early in the second quarter, as senior
Mike Cooper (Riva, Md./Archbishop Spalding) found Breau for a score. After an Albright goal, the Warriors got the goal back with 14 seconds left in the quarter, as Reilly scored off a give from Breau to make it 5-2 at the break.

In the third quarter, Albright got a quick goal off a man-up situation before Reilly answered in transition off a give from junior
Peter Pluta (Honeoye Falls, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima). Albright, however scored six of the next seven goals, taking a 12-4 lead midway through the fourth quarter. Huff and freshman
Travis Rode (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) each added scores within 25 seconds of each other to close within 12-6, but Albright answered with two goals in 20 seconds before the two teams split goals in the final five minutes to make up the final margin.

Reilly, Pluta and freshman
Austin Arroyo (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) each posted three ground balls to lead the team.

Can Cetrone led the Lions with five goals and an assist and Tyler Strayline posted three goals. Derek Stump added four assists and two caused turnovers. Matt Wighard led the Lions' defense with four ground balls, as Albright held a 32-23 advantage in the category.

Ryan Aler (6-8) earned the win for the Lions, as he made 17 saves. Tscheulin made 12 stops, his second-highest total of the season.

The Warriors close out the 2016 season on Saturday, April 30, when they head to Alvernia University for a 1 p.m. MAC Commonwealth game.
