READING, Pa. – Sophomore
Callan Jordan (Hurley, N.Y./Western Academy of Beijing) led the Lycoming College men's swimming team with wins in the 50- and 100-yard backstroke in its season-opening Middle Atlantic Conference meet, but the men's team fell, 145-105 and the women, 155-94, at the Albright College Natatorium on Sunday, Oct. 23.

Jordan led the way for the Warriors posting a time of 55.73 to win the 100-yard backstroke and after a second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle (51.93), he won the 50-yard backstroke (26.87) in the next race.

Freshman
Cole McGrath (Reading, Pa./Berks Catholic) finished second in the 100-yard individual medley (59.79) and the 50-yard freestyle (23.61) and freshman
Devyn Goda (Reading, Pa./Reading) finished second in both the 100-yard breaststroke (1.01.24, getting touched out by .13) and the 50-yard breaststroke (28.19).

Sophomore
Emilie Kramer (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) led the women's team, as she won the 100-yard butterfly (1:04.93) and finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:13.13) and the 100-yard freestyle (58.02).

Morgan Black (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) took second in the 50-yard freestyle (27.18) and the 50-yard breaststroke (35.68) and senior
Emily Jacobs (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) finished second in the 100-yard backstroke (1:11.54)

The Warriors get back in the pool on Friday, Oct. 28, when they head to the Schweikert Relays at Susquehanna University at 6 p.m.
