Samantha Bruckart (Huntington, N.Y./Huntington) posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles on her 21
st birthday to lead the Lycoming College women's tennis team on Saturday, Sept. 5, at Bruce Henry Park, but Mount Aloysius was able to edge out Lycoming, 5-4, in non-conference action.

Bruckart notched her win over Felicia Phillips and added a forfeit win at No. 3 doubles with sophomore
Ashley Stover (Bel Air, Md./Patterson Mill). The Warriors (0-1 overall) also got a forfeit win at No. 6 singles and junior
Mariah Durrant (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) added a 6-3, 5-7, 10-7 superset win over Afton Dunkle at No. 4 singles.

Mount Aloysius improved to 1-1 overall, as it posted wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles and No. 1, 2 and 3 singles.

The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, Sept. 12, when they host Wilkes at 11 a.m. at Bruce Henry Park.
