Warriors fall to Colonels

Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College women's tennis team fell to defending Freedom Conference champion Wilkes University, 9-0, on Sunday morning, Sept. 13, at Bruce Henry Park.
 
The team was led by the No. 1 doubles squad of junior Sophie Herzing (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic) and sophomore Kaitlin Hallabuk (Towanda, Pa./Towanda Area), which fell to Taylor Hoffman and Madison Salmon, 8-2. At No. 3 singles, freshman Kimberleigh Parroccini (Warren, Pa./Warren Area) also won two games in her match with Erin Volutza.
 
The Warriors fell to 0-2 and Wilkes improved to 1-0.
 
The Warriors get back into action on Wednesday, Sept. 16, when they host Susquehanna at Bruce Henry Park at 4 p.m.
