Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior Miranda Giraldo (Hudson, N.H./Cumberland Valley) and sophomore Sophie Herzing (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic) posted a win in doubles play to lead the Lycoming College women's tennis team on Tuesday afternoon, April 21, but the squad fell to Albright College, 8-1, in Commonwealth Conference play at Bruce Henry Park.
 
Herzing and Giraldo notched an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles over Christina Peacock and Amanda Camporeale. Herzing also played well at No. 4 singles, falling in a superset tiebreaker to Erin Sullivan, 7-5, 1-6, 10-7. Senior Shannon Sheridan (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) also fell in a superset tiebreaker to Brooke Ronney at No. 1 singles, 4-6, 6-4, 10-6.
 
The Warriors fell to 3-12 overall and 0-5 in the Commonwealth. Albright improved to 7-8 overall and 2-4 in the Commonwealth.
 
The Warriors wrap up their season on Saturday, April 25, when they head to Alvernia for a 1 p.m. Commonwealth Conference match.
