Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College women's tennis team fell to Messiah College, 9-0, in Commonwealth Conference action at Bruce Henry Park on Friday afternoon, April 17.

The Warriors fell to 3-10 overall and 0-4 in the Commonwealth Conference and Messiah improved to 7-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference.

The Warriors had several close sets with the Falcons, including sophomore
Sophie Herzing (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic) at No. 5 singles, sophomore
Mariah Durrant (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) at No. 6 and freshmen
Kaitlin Hallabuk (Towanda, Pa./Towanda Area) and
Ashley Stover (Bel Air, Md./Patterson Mill) at No. 3 doubles.

The Warriors get back in action on Sunday, April 19, when they host Misericordia in non-conference action at 1 p.m. at Bruce Henry Park.
