WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior Shannon Sheridan (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) and sophomore Mariah Durrant (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) posted wins in singles play to lead the Lycoming College women's tennis team, as it fell to Alfred University, 7-2, in non-conference action at Bruce Henry Park on Tuesday afternoon, April 14.
 
Durrant notched a 6-3, 6-3 win over Danielle Hickin at No. 6 singles before Sheridan notched a 8-4 pro-set win over Emma Jackson at No. 1 to lead the Warriors (2-9 overall).
 
The Saxons improved to 9-6 overall, as they won all three doubles matches and four singles bouts.
 
The Warriors get back on the court on Wednesday, April 15, when they head to Baptist Bible (Pa.) for a 4 p.m. non-conference game.
