Sophie Herzing (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic) won both her singles and doubles match to lead the Lycoming College women's tennis team, but Stevenson University won five singles matches and two doubles matches to post a 7-2 Commonwealth Conference win at the Greenspring Tennis Courts on Saturday, April 11.

Ashley Stover (Bel Air, Md./Patterson Mill) to post an 8-3 win at No. 3 singles over Jennifer Garcia and Colleen Martin. She followed that with a 7-6 (6), 6-4 win over Martin at No. 5 singles, as she improved to 2-0 in conference play.

The Warriors fell to 2-8 overall and 0-3 in the Commonwealth Conference. Stevenson improved to 3-5 overall and 1-1 in the conference.

The Warriors get back on the court on Tuesday, April 14, when they host Alfred University in a 3:30 p.m. match at Bruce Henry Park.
