Mike Cooper (Riva, Md./Archbishop Spalding) led the Lycoming College men's lacrosse team with two goals, but a 10-goal first quarter helped 13
th-ranked Ithaca College to a 19-4 win at the Shangraw Athletic Complex on Wednesday afternoon, March 4.

Cooper scored twice and caused two turnovers to lead the Warriors (0-3 overall), while senior
Steve Campaniello (Rochester, N.Y./Gates-Chili) and junior
Jake Wanamaker (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) each also added scores. Campaniello and junior
Michael Wagner (Pasadena, Md./St. Mary's) led the team with three ground balls and junior
James Ahrens (Corning, N.Y./Corning East) also caused two turnovers. Freshman
Garrett Huff (Corning, N.Y./Corning East) also added an assist.

The Bombers (2-1 overall) jumped out to a 10-goal lead, as Jake Cotton scored four times in the first quarter to spur the run, as Lycoming never got back within nine points.

Cotton led the Bombers with four goals and an assist and Steve Danylyshyn added three scores. Sean Ferritto also posted two goals and to assists. Grant Osadchey led the Bombers with eight ground balls and both Eli Gobrecht and Elijah Jolly each posted two caused turnovers.

Senior
Alex Wylly (Columbus, Ohio/Worthington Kilbourne) finished with 12 saves for the Warriors. Scott Sidnam earned the win for the Bombers, notching eight saves through the first three quarters.

The Warriors get back in action on Sunday, March 8, when they head to Landmark Conference champion Susquehanna for a 1 p.m. non-conference game.
