GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Lycoming College women's tennis team fell to Messiah College, 9-0, in Commonwealth Conference action on Wednesday, April 9. Lycoming fell to 1-7 overall and 0-2 in the Commonwealth and Messiah improved to 4-5 overall and 2-1 in the Commonwealth.
 
Junior Shannon Sheridan (Danville, Pa./Danville) led the Warriors, falling 6-2, 6-0 to Erin Ipsen at No. 1 singles.
 
The Warriors get back in action on Saturday, April 12, when they head to Hood for a Commonwealth Conference dual match at 1 p.m.
