HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Lycoming College women's tennis team opened the spring portion of its 2013-14 schedule by facing the Landmark Conference's Juniata College on Friday afternoon, falling 9-0 at the Raffensberger Tennis Courts.
 
The Warriors (1-4 overall) were led by the No. 3 doubles team of senior Kendall Connors (Republic, Pa./Brownsville Area) and freshman Sophie Herzing (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic), who won three games against Rachel Yurchisin and Jacklyn Renninger.
 
Juniata improved to 7-1 overall.
 
The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, March 22, when they head to Misericordia for a  2 p.m. non-conference match.
