WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The No. 1 doubles team of junior Kathy Jacobs (Milton, Pa./Milton Area) and sophomore Shannon Sheridan (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) posted a win to lead the Lycoming College women’s tennis team, but Juniata College was able to post an 8-1 win at Bruce Henry Park in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon, April 2.
 
Jacobs and Sheridan notched their first win of the season as a double pair, topping the Eagles’ top pair of Heather Waring and Megan Phillips, 8-6.
 
Juniata (9-3 overall) won the other two doubles matches, though, and all six singles matches to notch the win. Lycoming fell to 0-5.
 
The Warriors get back in action on Saturday, April 6, when they head to Alvernia for a 1 p.m. Commonwealth Conference match.
