Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s tennis team opened its 2012-13 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 15, falling 9-0 to defending Freedom Conference champion Wilkes at Bruce Henry Park. Lycoming fell to 0-1 and Wilkes improved to 1-0.
 
Sophomore Shannon Sheridan (Danville, Pa./Danville Area), who moved from the No. 3 to the No. 1 slot in the lineup, won two games against the three-time defending Freedom Conference Player of the Year, Melanie Nolt, 6-1, 6-1.
 
The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, Sept. 29, when they head to Susquehanna for a 1 p.m. match.
