YORK, Pa. – Junior Johnathan Secor and senior Tyler Cunningham posted wins for the Lycoming College wrestling team on Thursday night, Nov. 15, but York (Pa.) won eight bouts en route to a 35-9 win.
 
The Warriors (1-1 overall) kept several matches close, but the Spartans (4-1 overall) built a 23-point lead before the Warriors made a run of nine straight points. Secor posted a 5-4 win over Kam Mueller at 174 pounds before Cunningham pinned Jeff Goldhagen 94 seconds into his match.
 
The Spartans wrapped up the meet with two more pins to round out the scoring.
 
The Warriors get back in action on Saturday, Nov. 17, when they head to the East Stroudsburg University Open. Wrestling starts at 9 a.m.
