WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Junior Megan Gardner (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) won both her singles and doubles matches, but the Lycoming College women’s tennis team fell, 7-2, to Goucher College on Saturday, Sept. 17 at Bruce Henry Park.

Gardner defeated Meaghan Lee 6-4, 6-1 in the No. 1 singles match and teamed up with freshman Dani Nazaruk (Duncansville, Pa./Guilfoyle Catholic) to defeat Lee and Lindsey Libaw in the No. 1 doubles match, 8-1.

Lycoming falls to 0-1, and Goucher improves to 2-0.

Lycoming gets back on the court at Bruce Henry Park versus rival Susquehanna for their next match on Thursday Sept. 22 at 3 pm.
