Warriors fall at Misericordia

DALLAS, Pa.
– The Lycoming College swim teams fell on the road at Middle Atlantic Conference foe Misericordia on Wednesday night, Nov. 16, as the women dropped a 129-71 decision and the men were beaten 131-71.
 
On the men’s side, senior Myles Biggs (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) finished second in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:16.05 and sophomore Jack  Port (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff) took third in 11:18.29. Senior Joe Andrie (Reedsville, Pa./Indian Valley) added a second-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing in 1:04.83 and sophomore Jake Pelinsky (Southwick, Mass/Westfield) added a third-place finish in 1:07.24.
 
On the women’s side, freshman Lexi Follweiler (Coaldale, Pa./Panther Valley) took second in the 400-yard individual medley in 5:11.36 and freshman Danielle Loiseau (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) added a time of 1:03.25 to take second in the 100-yard butterfly. Freshman BethAnn Schwoyer (Williamsport, Pa./Homeschooled) took second in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:05.12.
 
The women’s team gets back in the pool on Monday, Nov. 21, when they head to Mansfield for a 6:30 p.m. meet at the Division II school.
