Three men's cross country runners compete at NCAA regionals

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Three senior Lycoming College men’s cross country runners competed at the NCAA Mideast Regional meet on Saturday, Nov. 14. The group consisted of Steve Brown, Greg Sledzik and Scott Boyles. Over 300 runners from 51 schools competed in the event.
 
Brown (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) was the first Warrior across the line, finishing the 8,000 meter course in 246th place with a time of 30:15.0, averaging 6:03 per mile.
 
Crossing second was Sledzik (White Hall, Md./Hereford) in 272nd place, stopping the clock in 31:24.7 for an average mile of 6:17. Boyles (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) concluded his career with a 274th place finish in a time of 31:33.4, averaging a 6:19 mile.
 
The Warriors concluded their season under first-year head coach Lesley Larson after competing in seven events.
