Women's tennis falls 7-2 in conference match to Arcadia

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.
--- Picking up wins in the first flight of singles and the second flight of doubles, the Lycoming College women’s tennis team fell to Commonwealth opponent Arcadia University 7-2 on Saturday, Oct. 3. Amiee Snyder was the singles winner, earning the victory 3-6, 6-4, 10-4.

The Loss drops Lycoming to 0-6 on the season and 0-3 in the Commonwealth while Arcadia moves to 7-4 overall and 1-2 in the league.

In doubles action, Erika Niemann (Taylor, Mich./John F. Kennedy) and Kelly Drinkard (Seaville, N.J./Ocean City) squeaked by Megan Gillespie and Beth Osipowitz 9-7. The combo of Snyder (Kempton, Pa./Kutztown) and Rebecca Reynolds (S. Williamsport, Pa./S. Williamsport) fell 8-2.

Lycoming returns to the court on Tues, Oct. 6 when they travel to PSU-Harribsurg for a 3:30 p.m. start.
