GRANTHAM, Pa. – The 24 ranked Lycoming wrestling team was defeated 20-13 at 27 Messiah on Friday, Jan, 16. The Falcons claimed six of the individual matches in the win.

The Warriors, resting many of their top lineup, dropped the first two bouts to open the match.

Tom Barger put Lycoming on the board with a major decision (9-1) over Domineak Commidore at 141.

Messiah claimed the next four matches before the Warriors closed out the match with three wins.

Kyle Crouthamel defeated Tim Stewart, 4-0, at 184. Bryan Kopesky earned a 10-3 decision over Tim Hopkins at 197 and Richard Ausem earned a 3-2 victory over Zane Bachert at 285.

The Warriors will host King’s on Monday, Jan. 19th at 7:30 p.m.
