EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s tennis team fell 9-0 in Commonwealth Conference action against Wilkes on Sunday, Sept. 21.
Wilkes controlled the match by dropping just seven games in the nine matches contested.
Rebecca Reynolds (South Williamsport, Pa.) won two games at the no. 2 position but lost the match in straight-sets (6-0, 6-2). Kelly Drinkard (Seaville, N.J.) also won two games, playing at the no. 3 position, but dropped the match (6-2, 6-0).
Kathryn Walker (Red Lion, Pa.) and Jessica Souchik (Lewis Run, Pa.) each won one game in their matches, playing at the no. 5 and no. 6 positions, respectively.
The Lady Warriors drop to 1-4 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
Lycoming will host Scranton on Saturday, Sept. 27, in a 2 p.m. match at Bruce E. Henry Park in Loyalsock, Pa.
