Standing in the circle for a pair of wins in a sweep of rival Susquehanna, senior Liz Nace has earned her second career Warrior of the Week award and the first of her career. Nace threw a six-hit shutout in a 4-0 win over the River Hawks in the first game of the doubleheader, ensuring the Warriors would keep the Cancer Awareness Cup. She came on in relief of the second game, pitching last four innings after entering with the score 4-1 in favor of the River Hawks, allowing three hits and a run in the 7-5 come-from-behind win. She struck out two and walked one in the 11 innings pitched, allowing a 0.64 ERA. Nace is 8-6 this season with a team-best 2.71 ERA. She has struck out 42 and walked 14 in 98.1 innings this season.
