After providing one of the most exhilarating finishes to a dual meet in the past five years, junior Nik Christine has earned his first career Warrior of the Week award. With Lycoming leading Stevens, 18-15, heading into the heavyweight match against Tyler Maher, Christine needed a win to prevent the meet going to criteria to decide a winner. Instead, with 30 seconds left in the third period, he found himself behind, 10-5, and with Maher sitting on a riding time point, meaning one more takedown would give Maher a major decision and give Stevens a dual meet win. Instead, Christine, who has struggled with injuries all year, executed a fireman's carry, flipping Maher on his back and securing a pin, 15 seconds before the match ended, giving Lycoming a hard-earned 24-15 win.
