With a gutsy performance that included a school-record and three appearance in individual event finals at the MAC Championships, sophomore McKenna Zeller has earned her first Warrior of the Week award of the year and the third of her career. Zeller broke her own school record in the 100-yard backstroke, posting a time of 58.50 in the preliminaries before notching a 58.80 to take fourth in the finals on Saturday. On Sunday, Zeller took fifth in the 200-yard backstroke, posting a time of 2:10.09, to earn the team 14 more team points. She also finished fifth in the 50-yard freestyle, posting a time of 25.14. Zeller also led off the 200-yard medley relay with a 27.45 split, anchored the 200-yard freestyle in 24.80, led off the 400-yard medley relay with a split of 59.93 and led off the 400-yard freestyle relay with a split of 54.85, the second-fastest time in program history.
