Returning to the lineup after 12 days, senior A.J. Llorente hit .400 (6-of-15) during a four-game week and tossed in a two-hit shutout of the conference champs, helping him earn his first career Warrior of the Week award. The senior went 6-for-11 during a three-game set with Catholic, scoring two runs, driving in two and also walking three times. Then on Sunday, in his first start in more than a month, Llorente tossed a Lycoming's first complete game shutout since 2024 in his first Landmark Conference start of the season to down the Cardinals. Llorente, who threw just 74 pitches in the win, allowed two hits, a walk and a hit batter, allowing just two runners to reach second base and retiring the last 14 batters he faced, striking out four Cardinals.
A Second Team All-Landmark Conference pitcher in 2025, Llorente is 5-2 in his career with a 3.72 ERA in 67 2/3 innings. He has struck out 47 and walked 15.
