After posting two career-high performances to lead the men's basketball team to a pair of wins, freshman D'Yante Doughty has earned his first career Warrior of the Week award. Doughty averaged 18.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 0.5 steals and assists per game during the week, as he shot 60 percent from the field, 67 percent from 3-point range and 88 percent at the free throw line. He had 18 points and three rebounds against Albright, hitting the game-tying and game-winning free throws with 4.8 seconds left to lift Warriors to 86-85 win after being down 14 with 4:42 remaining. The guard followed that by adding a career-high 19 points and three rebounds in 79-75 win over Arcadia, as he hit 3-of-4 free throws in final 66 seconds to help Warriors keep a narrowing lead over the Knights that dropped to a point. Doughty is fifth on the team, averaging 7.7 points per game.
