After posting a career-high 26 points to go with four rebounds, four steals, an assist and a block in a 62-46 win over Misericordia, senior Mya Wetzel has earned her second career Warrior of the Week award and her first of the season. Wetzel hit a Landmark Conference season-high seven 3-pointers in the win, canning 7-of-10 attempts, the second-most made 3-pointers in program history. She connected on 9-of-13 from the field to help Lycoming overpower Misericordia. She made her first 3-pointer in the first minute of the first quarter and added her second in the final moments of the second period. Three of Wetzels' 3-pointers came in the third quarter and she added two more treys in the fourth, to give her 147 in her career, which is third in program history and 18 from the school record of 165.
Wetzel is fourth on the team with an average of 6.8 points per game, while she leads the team with 18 3-pointers made and 22 steals.
