After extending her hitting streak to 10 games, junior Kristi Weaver has earned her third career Warrior of the Week award and her first of the season. Weaver went 4-for-6 with a double and a run during a Saturday doubleheader at Commonwealth Conference-leading Messiah. She went 3-for-4 with a double in the first game before going 1-for-3 in the nightcap to get her hitting streak to 10 games, the longest streak for a Warrior since the 2013 season. Weaver's batting average has risen to .434, the fourth-best mark in the Commonwealth Conference, during the hitting streak, as she has hit .583 (21-for-36) in her past 10 games.
