After going 3-for-5 during the MAC Freedom Championship quarterfinal at King's, junior Morgan Klosko has earned her first career Warrior of the Week award. Klosko went 1-for-2 in the first game of the doubleheader with King's on Saturday and then went 2-for-3 with a double in the second game. The designated hitter, who missed the 2020 season with an injury, returned with gusto in 2021, improving more than 80 points on her batting average and more than 130 in slugging percentage, slashing .379/1/17 with a .483 slugging percentage. She nearly doubled her extra-base hit total from four to seven despite playing eight fewer games.
