A long and winding 10-game week that finished with the Warriors winning five of six games has helped sophomore Kristi Weaver earn her first career Warrior of the Week award. At the plate, Weaver hit .333 (9-for-27) with six runs, 10 RBI, two doubles and two home runs, including four multiple-hit games. She hit a homer, walked twice, scored three runs and drove in two to help Lycoming to a 9-8 win over Wilkes, also pitching three innings of one-hit relief to earn the win. Weaver went 4-for-6 with two runs and six RBI to lead Warriors to the sweep of Hood. In the second game, she hit a two-RBI double and three-run homer, finishing 2-for-3 with five RBI. In the circle, Weaver went 4-3, tossing 38 innings and notching a 2.39 ERA for the Warriors. She struck out 12 and walked just three. Weaver won both ends of a doubleheader against Wilkes and added another win in relief against Widener, allowing one hit and striking out three in three innings. She finished the week with a three-hit shutout of Hood in the first game of the doubleheader sweep.
