After setting the school-record for saves in a career and tying the record for saves in a season, senior Avery Eiswerth has earned her fourth career Warrior of the Week award and her first of the season. She went 1-1 with two saves and 1.93 ERA in a 3-1 week for the Warriors, striking out 26 in 14 innings. She threw three shutout innings, striking out five in an 11-2, five-inning win over Albright, then threw three more and struck out six to finish 7-0 win over the Lions, earning her school-record seventh career save in the process. She tossed a complete-game five-hitter in a 4-0 loss to Susquehanna, striking out a career-high 14 and allowing just two hits in six shutout innings to start the game. She capped the week by earning a save by tossing scoreless seventh in 4-3 win in second game of doubleheader, striking out one, to tie school-record for saves in a season with four.
Eiswerth leads the Landmark Conference with four saves, a .164 opposing batting average, and 52 strikeouts and she is fourth with a 1.13 ERA and seventh with three wins.
