A school-record and two gritty performances has helped senior Michael Rudy earn his third career Warrior of the Week award and first of 2013-14. Against Elizabethtown on Saturday, Rudy notched two blocked shots, surpassing Matt Stackhouse (2000-04) for the school's career record and finishing the game with 143 blocked shots, one more than Stackhouse. He broke the record with a swat with 6:03 remaining on a layup by Jake Sweger. For the week, Rudy averaged a double-double, posting 10.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game, notching 10 points and nine rebounds to go with four blocks against Albright and then adding 10 points and 12 rebounds to lead the team to a must-win over the Blue Jays.
