Despite missing nearly a half of Saturday's game after taking an elbow to the face, senior Anthony Martin reentered the game and led the Warriors to an 88-71 win over Widener, helping him earn his first career Warrior of the Week award. For the week, Martin averaged 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 59 percent from the field (16-for-27). Against league-leading Alvernia on Wednesday, Martin dropped in 25 points and added seven rebounds, sending the game to overtime with a game-tying bucket with 40 seconds left. Against Widener, Martin reentered the game after his first-half injury while the Pride were in the midst of a run that cut a 19-point lead to five. The guard responded with 10 points in a four-minute period to help clinch the win for the Warriors.
