Leading the Lycoming men's soccer defense to a pair of shutouts against regionally-ranked opponents has helped senior Jaeden Asare earn his first Warrior of the Week award of the season and the third of his career. Asare, the Warriors' center back, keyed the Warriors on to a 2-0 win over Rutgers-Newark, ranked sixth in Region IV, as the Scarlet Raptors took just six shots in the game. The defense held 23rd-ranked John Carroll to the same amount of shots in a 0-0 draw on Saturday, as the Lycoming offense doubled the Blue Streaks in shots. Asare played all 90 minutes in each contest, as he has helped the Warriors to five shutouts in seven contests this year and a 5-1-1 record.
